Flower Care Guide: Keep Your Blooms Fresh

To enjoy your flowers at their best for as long as possible (up to 7 days), please follow these guidelines:

Watering and Water Care

• Daily Top-Up: Make sure the flowers always have enough clean water available every day.
• Full Change: Replace the water completely every 2-3 days to reduce bacterial growth that shortens the flowers lifespan.

Trimming Stems and Flowers

• Cut the Stems: Trim at least half an inch off the base of the stems at an angle before placing them in the vase, and repeat this with every water change to improve water absorption.
• Ongoing Cleanup: Remove any leaves submerged under water, and discard any dead or wilted flowers immediately to preserve the rest of the arrangement.

Ideal Environment and Placement

• Heat and Light: Place the flowers in a cool spot away from direct sunlight, air conditioning drafts, or heaters.
• Fruit Placement: Avoid placing flowers near ripening fruit (especially bananas and apples), as they release ethylene gas which speeds up wilting.

Important Warnings

Pet Safety: Some flower types can be toxic to pets if chewed or ingested (including leaves, petals, or even the vase water). Please keep floral arrangements out of their reach, and contact a veterinarian immediately if ingestion is suspected.
